I appreciate you dropping in. I'm Paul, and I started shooting with a Canon AE-1 about a million years ago. My brother Scott turned me on to digital several years ago, and it rekindled the flame. I'm having a blast, once again, and I hope you enjoy the pictures you see at least a fraction as much as I enjoy taking them!

The first Triad Flight of Honor, as it leaves Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, NC on its way to Washington DC. October 3, 2009 was the start of something GREAT!

Charles Pickard flew on the second Triad Flight of Honor on October 28, 2009, and afterward became a true ambassador for the program. He was always at the preflight meetings, the departures and the arrivals of each flight after his, welcoming his fellow veterans, encouraging them, and encouraging us at the same time with his enthusiasm and courage. Unknown to most of us, he was quite ill, but he never wavered. He passed away two days before the 10th Flight of Honor this past May. His death was announced to most of us as we gathered to send the 10th TFOH to Washington. In his honor, a significant amount of money was raised to sponsor a veteran for the 11th Flight, and with gratitude, sincere respect, and much love, the 11th Triad Flight of Honor is flown in his memory. Thanks, Charlie, and Godspeed. You are missed.
